A new study published in the European Journal Allergy and Clinical Immunology showed
that delaying the Dtap vaccine resulted in a lower incidence of eczema and eczema medications.
This finding does not surprise me, in fact vaccines
have the ability to cause inflammatory issues in every system and organ in the body.
This study will not be covered by your "trusted" news programs or shown to your doctor by

Hillary Clinton Wants to Find a "Cure" For Alzheimer's, I Have Some Big Clues For Her !!
Hillary Clinton wants to find a "cure" for Alzheimer's Disease. She wants to spend 2 billion dollars in tax payer money to accomplish this.
The Alzheimer's Association claims that the disease is the only top-10 cause of death in America that can’t be prevented, cured, or slowed down.
I would like to give Hillary and the Alzheimer's Association some clues as to where they should look.
Here is the first big clue:
LOW CHOLESTEROL AND STATIN DRUGS !!
The first thing I want to point out is that Alzheimer's disease really boomed after the 1950's. This was when the main stream medical system started telling people to reduce their intake of cholesterol. Alzheimer's Disease further escalated after the advent of Cholesterol Lowering medications. In fact even the FDA forced pharmaceutical companies to include a black box warning on their cholesterol lowering medications cautioning that they may cause memory issues.
When ever a client tells me one of their parents or grandparents have some form of memory impairment, my first question is always "Are they on cholesterol lowering medications?" The answer is almost always yes. I cant even count how many of my clients have told me this. In the nursing home that I work in I see similar situations. When ever I see Alzheimer's disease or some other form of Dementia, I look at their list of medications and over 90% of the time they are on Statin Drugs.
Why do Statin drugs do this? The answer is quite simple. Your brain has a lot of cholesterol in it.
When you reduce your intake of cholesterol or force your body to stop producing it your brain (as well as many other vital processes) will suffer.
To learn more about cholesterol (and why I eat lots of it) click here
Clue # 2:
Blood Sugar
There is strong evidence showing a connection between high blood sugar and Alzheimer's disease that researcher's are now calling it type 3 diabetes.
Sugar is dangerous when it is constantly rising in the blood. It is sticky and highly reactive stuff.
(in fact it is explosive !!) When too much sugar is circulating in your blood it burns. The real problem arises when these burned sugar particles react with protein and they caramelize (called glycation),
causing what scientists call advanced glycation products.
What does this have to do with Alzheimer's?
When burned sugar reacts with proteins in our brain it can lead to memory problems.
The blood sugar link to Alzheimer's disease is undeniable.

Clue # 3
Vitamin E
Vitamin E is a fat protecting nutrient. Since the brain is largely made up of fat, it would be logical
to confer that oxidized fats in the brain could be mended with Vitamin E which is a powerful antioxidant.
There is some good scientific literature on Vitamin E's role in preventing and slowing down the
progression of Alzheimer's.
Clue # 4
Fasting
Eating less food may help slow down the progression of Alzheimer's Disease.
In one study intermittent fasting helped slow down the progression of the disease in rats.

There are plenty of safe, natural, and non-medical strategies that you can try for Alzheimer's disease utilizing nutrition and nutritional supplementation. (I have many more nutrients, foods, and strategies that are highly beneficial to someone with Alzheimer's, but will stop here) I have a feeling Hillary Clinton is going to try to hand over our tax money to pharmaceutical companies that don't have our best interest at heart, will produce substandard results, and will most likely not "cure" the disease.

Full Spectrum Lights Work Better Than Prozac
Researchers at the University of British Columbia conducted a study that showed how full spectrum light is effective for major depression. Not only did this study show that full spectrum light was effective, but it out performed the SSRI Drug Prozac !!
What was even more humorous was that the placebo was more effective than Prozac (laughing hard)
I recommend full spectrum light during the winter and fall months to anyone who suffers from Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD), depression, anxiety, or a weakened immune system.
In the summer time spend as much time in the sun as you can (without sun screen !!)
Just make sure you do not burn your skin.

Study Shows Fluoride Significantly Increases ADHD Rate
A new study showed that a 1% increase in fluoride levels in drinking water can result in 131,000 children developing Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
The evidence has been piling up against fluoride. It is clear that fluoride is a neurotoxin and needs to be removed from our drinking water immediately.

Study: Antidepressant Paxil Can Make Teens Suicidal & is Not Effective
A New study that was published in the British Journal of Medicine showed an alarming rate of suicidal behavior in adolescents that took the SSRI Paxil (Paroxetine) while being about as effective as placebo.
The researchers concluded "Neither paroxetine nor high dose imipramine showed efficacy for major depression in adolescents, and there was an increase in harms with both drugs."
If it is not effective and causes suicidal behavior, why is it on the market?

A Fun Way To Detoxify & Stimulate Your Immune System
Moving Your Lymphatic Fluid With A Rebounder
Our lymphatic system is like our immune system's circulatory system. This is how our immune cells travel. Unlike our circulatory system which uses our heart to pump the blood through it, our lymphatic system relies on our muscles to move lymphatic fluid around. If we are not using our muscles, jumping, moving around, exercising, our lymphatic fluid does not circulate well and our immune system can not function efficiently.
When we are moving our body and using our muscles to exercise the lymphatic fluid moves around allowing immune cells to get to bacteria and viruses faster, and helps flush out toxins from the body.
Using a rebounder is easy on the joints and is a fun way to achieve this.

Vitamin C has similar cardiovascular effects to exercise
Researchers from the University of Colorado, Boulder found that a daily intake of 500 mg of Vitamin C improved blood vessel function in overweight and obese adults.
They had one group take 500mg of vitamin C daily, while the other group performed daily aerobic exercises. The group that took vitamin c showed similar cardiovascular effects as walking exercise did in this population.
Now ask yourself why government recommendations only suggest 40 mg of vitamin C per day when thousands of studies show remarkable benefits with doses around 1,000mg per day?
My preferred way to take vitamin c is ascorbic acid in powdered form. It is the cheapest way
of getting vitamin c and will last you a long time. I like to mix it in smoothies and put it in water sipping it slowly. I like taking 1,000mg 3x/day
Camu powder is also my favorite. It contains more vitamin c than any food that I know of. It is more expensive than plain ascorbic acid but comes with all the cofactors and bioflavonoids.

Tropical Kale Salad
Tropical Kale Salad
I came home from work and wanted to make something quick and easy.
I created a delicious slightly sweet tropical kale salad :)
Ingredients
1/2 bunch of Organic Kale
A handful of sliced pineapple
Organic Butter
Turmeric
Himalayan Sea Salt
In a medium sauce pan on a very low flame:
Put 2 tablespoons of organic butter in the pan, throw in the pineapple slices, and stir around until the melted butter absorbs the sweet flavor from the pineapple.
Throw in the Kale, sprinkle Himalayan salt and turmeric to taste.
Mix the Kale slowly and thoroughly so that it gets completely wet with butter and absorbs the salt, turmeric, and the sweet tropical pineapple flavor.
Don't heat for to long. Just enough to warm up the kale and for the flavors to seep in.

Enjoy :)
This Salad is power packed with nutrients. Vitamins, Minerals, Antioxidants, and vital cholesterol.
Yes beautiful cholesterol that your brain and every cell in your body will love.
Attention: Dietary Cholesterol is not bad for you. It will not cause heart disease. I repeat will not cause heart disease, regardless of what your doctor says :)
It is a building compound that is essential for regenerating every cell in your body :)

Health Benefits of Intermittent Fasting
Mark Mattson is the current Chief of the Laboratory of Neurosciences at the National Institute on Aging. He is also a professor of Neuroscience at The Johns Hopkins University. Mattson is one of the foremost researchers in the area of cellular and molecular mechanisms underlying neurodegenerative disorders such as Alzheimer's Disease, Parkinson's Disease, and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis.
INTERMITTENT FASTING IS ASSOCIATED WITH MANY HEALTH BENEFITS
Intermittent fasting is associated with many health benefits. I have seen many of my clients improve their symptoms during a fast. Fasting has been shown to improves Multiple Sclerosis(M.S) symptoms in animals. The good news is that the benefits of fasting is not limited to Multiple Sclerosis. Autoimmune diseases and Chronic degenerative diseases of all kinds can improve.
FASTING CAN IMPROVE MANY BIOMARKERS OF HEALTH
It can lower triglyceride levels, reduce oxidative stress, and initiate human growth hormone production which is necessary for building new cells.
Here is some excellent articles to get you started:

We Are Making Changes
A wave of good news is sweeping the health community.
This week Chipotle announced that they will use mostly NON GMO ingredients in their food. It is remarkable that a fast food chain was able to do this. They realized that in order to separate themselves from the competition and gain the trust and respect of young health conscious people they would have to step their game up.
While Chipotle announced this we also heard news of McDonald's losing revenue and closing hundreds of stores !!
Due to the power of the internet people have been able to obtain information that was not available to them in the past. Corporations with the help of bought off media outlets were able to conceal information and mislead the masses. Times have changed. They are not able to cover up information like they used to. Thanks to online activists (Food Babe), alternative media (natural news, Infowars), and social network sites (Facebook, twitter) real information is getting out to the people.
If this wasn't exciting enough there are 2 more breakthroughs.
The International Agency for Research on Cancer ( a branch of the World Health Organization)
just declared that glyphosate (the most commonly used herbicide in the world) is probably carcinogenic to humans. This is a huge announcement because GMO crops are sprayed with tons of glyphosates because they are resistant to them. This is done so that weeds around them die. So when you eat GMO food you are eating residues of chemicals that are probably carcinogenic.
The next big announcement this week was by the Department of Health and Human Services which recommended lowering the fluoride levels in drinking water by almost 50%.
The next big announcement this week was by the Department of Health and Human Services which recommended lowering the fluoride levels in drinking water by almost 50%.
Although I am not satisfied until fluoride is completely removed from our drinking water, this is a step in the right direction.
We must continue to voice our opinions, share information, get involved in our community, and most importantly vote with our dollars !!

Whey Protein Smoothie Recipe
Whey protein is an amazing source of nutrition. It contains compounds that are highly building and immune enhancing. If that was not enough it is an excellent way to lose weight because it has the ability to shut off the hunger center in the brain.
Make sure to avoid most commercial brands since they often contain toxic sweeteners and preservatives. Many of them are also created with high temperatures which destroy the whey.
My favorite brand is Whey Factors. It is the most quality brand that I know of and is the one I personally use.
Add about 2-3 oz of water into a blender.
Add 1 scoop of chocolate Whey Factors Whey Protein
Add one frozen banana (freeze banana overnight)
1/4 teaspoon vitamin c powder or 1 teaspoon Camu powder
sprinkle in some cinnamon powder.
Add a handful of raw walnuts and unsalted raw peanuts.
1 Tablespoon virgin coconut oil (I like adding udo's oil blend and coconut oil)
* I like my shake thick like the consistency of a thick milk shake.
Blend and Enjoy :)

How Carbohydrates Raise Cholesterol Levels
Most people know that the hormone insulin is involved in the regulation of blood sugar. When you eat a carbohydrate or sugar, insulin is secreted from the pancreas into the blood stream in order to store the extra sugar into the muscles and liver.
What many people don't know is that insulin is actually a growth hormone. It is involved in building the body. The problem with eating too many carbohydrates is that the body gets fooled into thinking
it should be building.
Building means creating new cells.
One of the components that is needed to make new cells is cholesterol !!
Cholesterol is needed for the creation of every cell membrane.
Insulin is also turned on during growth phases. Babies, teenagers, pregnant women, and people who exercise all benefit from the growth hormone insulin. Insulin turns on the enzyme in the liver that produces cholesterol so that more cells can be made.
So the most effective strategy to naturally lower your cholesterol levels without using toxic pharmaceutical drugs is to reduce your intake of insulin activating foods.
All refined carbohydrates should be dramatically reduced. Bread, pasta, grains, potatoes, sweetened drinks, and even fruits and fruit juices.
Fruits have many beneficial components but we have to be careful not to eat too many of them.
Have a half a banana instead of a whole one, a slice of pineapple instead of half an entire pineapple.
We should be getting most of our carbohydrates from vegetables which contain complex carbohydrates.
P.S Eating cholesterol containing foods will not effect your blood cholesterol, so you can still eat cholesterol :) In fact you should go out of your way to eat cholesterol because it is one of the most building nutrients that you can eat !!
I have mentioned in a previous post that cholesterol does not cause heart disease, but high levels of cholesterol can be indicative of bad blood sugar regulation (in people other than babies, teenagers, pregnant woman, and people who exercise). So stabilizing your blood sugar is important in order to prevent diabetes, high blood pressure, cancer, and many other conditions.

Mammograms Another Medical Failure
We have all been conditioned to believe that mammograms save lives and that they are part of every woman over the age of 49's annual duty. Women have been led to believe that getting a mammogram is the best proactive way to prevent breast cancer. But is it?
STUDY: MAMMOGRAMS DO NOT REDUCE BREAST CANCER MORTALITY
According to one of the largest and longest studies ever conducted on mammograms, where 90,000 women were observed over the course of 25 years, annual mammograms had no impact on breast cancer mortality. What is even more concerning is that the same study found that 22% of mammogram detected as "invasive breast cancers" were false positives and resulted in unnecessary treatment. This means that 106 woman in the study who were screened were given chemotherapy, radiation, surgery, or a combination of these !!
MAMMOGRAMS RESULTED IN A 30% INCREASE IN UNNECESSARY TREATMENTS
In a 2009 Meta Analysis researchers found that mammogram screenings caused a 30% rate of over diagnosis and unnecessary treatment. Using the study's data, for every 2,000 women who are screened using a mammogram, only 1 will not die from breast cancer, while 10 healthy women will be incorrectly diagnosed with breast cancer and unnecessarily treated for it.
MAMMOGRAMS ONLY SAVED 0.0024 OF THOSE SCREENED !!
HIGHER RATE OF BREAST CANCER IN THOSE SCREENED MORE OFTEN
A Swedish Study that was published in 2011 in The Lancet Oncology concluded that a 4 year incidence of invasive breast cancer was significantly higher in the screened group (982 per 100,000) than it was in the control group (658 per 100,000).
Not only have annual mammograms shown to NOT reduce mortality from breast cancer, but they have resulted in unnecessary life threatening treatments for cancer (radiation, chemotherapy, and surgery) which can ironically increase the rates of cancer. Further more some data has shown a higher rate of breast cancer in those who were screened more often.

Boost Your Vitamin D Levels In A Cool Way
Many People know that Vitamin D plays an important role in bone formation but not to many people are aware of Vitamin D's other important roles. Over the last couple of years scientific research has been piling up on Vitamin D's other roles like immune enhancement, cardiovascular health, mental health, reducing the risk of diabetes, and preventing autoimmune diseases.
The best way to get Vitamin D is from the sun (without sun screen) This is how we were designed to get it. Our skin acts like solar panels which convert ultraviolet energy into biochemical energy !!
During the fall and winter this poses a problem for us since most people are not living in sunny regions. Many people resort to Vitamin D3 supplements which are ok, but I prefer a better way; Full spectrum lights.
Check them out on Dr. Mercola's site
I just bought some Full Spectrum Lights and they feel amazing !!

Gluten Free Vegetable Spaghetti
Use a spiralizer or a stainless steel julienne peeler to make spaghetti that is gluten free and low carb.
After you make vegetable spaghetti (I like using a mix of zucchini & carrots) you can sauté it for a few minutes in butter. Use any spices that you wish (I like himalayan salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, fresh onions, fresh garlic, and fresh cilantro) Accompany it with a meat sauce and some parmesan cheese.
Low Carb/gluten free breakfast ideas
Avocado
1 whole Avocado with a pinch or 2 Himalayan or Celtic sea salt. You can also squeeze some fresh lime juice on it.
Scrambled Eggs
2-3 scrambled eggs with organic butter. Eat some steamed veggies along with it.
Mashed banana with almond butter
Mash a banana in a bowl. Add 2-3 tablespoons almond butter, 1 tablespoon ground flax or chia seeds, add cinnamon to taste.
Greek Yogurt with veggies.
Eat 8 oz Whole Fat Greek Yogurt with your favorite veggies. I like the Fage brand. (it does not have growth hormones and has a high protein content. I recommend using whole fat because it is filling and will hold you over till lunch time. Dip raw carrots or any veggie of your choice into it. (steamed broccoli goes well with it to)
Whey Protein Shake
Use 1 scoop of whey protein, half a frozen banana, 1 tablespoon virgin coconut oil or 1 tablespoon udo's oil, 1 tablespoon flax seeds, a pinch of ground cinnamon, some vitamin c powder or camu powder in 8 oz of water. Blend in a blender.
* I recommend using Whey Factors chocolate whey protein. It is the best and cleanest whey brand that I know of. Avoid most commercial brands which mostly contain nasty ingredients.
* you can also use any milk of your choice.

Cholesterol Does Not Cause Heart Disease Ignorant Medical Theories Do
What is the first thing that comes to your mind when you hear the word cholesterol? What is the visual that you get? Do you picture artery clogging gook? heart attacks? strokes?
Your not alone. Most people do (including medical professionals). You also may have heard of HDL being the "good cholesterol" and LDL being the "bad cholesterol". Both of the statements are not only false, but both of these 3 letter acronyms are not even cholesterol !!
I want to take the time to clear up this very misunderstood compound that is essential to your wellbeing.
Cholesterol is so important to the human body that it produces it. It does not rely on you to try to hunt for it because it would die without it.
So what is cholesterol? It is the most fundamental building compound in all of human and animal biology.
* Every cell in your body requires cholesterol to form part of their cell membranes.
* The liver creates a fat processing substance called bile from cholesterol.
* It is also a building block for every sex hormone in the body (testosterone, estrogen,
progesterone, pregnenolone)
* The stress hormone cortisol is also made by this vital substance.
* The brain is largely made up of cholesterol and so is the myelin sheath (a fatty substance
that insulates your nerves to ensure that they are communicating effectively)
* Cholesterol turns into Vitamin D when the skin absorbs sunlight.
Are you starting to see how important this stuff is? What health problems do you think would arise if someone was to shutdown the body's cholesterol manufacturing center?
Cell communication, mental health, hormone production, digestive health, memory, immune system, bones, growth and repair would all be compromised.
Why would any one want to suppress and turn off the body's ability to make this mega important compound?
Medical professionals (including myself) were taught (and are still taught) that "high cholesterol levels will cause heart disease. This is highly inaccurate and unfortunate because the real culprits of heart disease are not focused on. Ever since the idiotic idea that high cholesterol is the cause of heart disease was put to clinical practice (over 60 years ago) , heart disease has risen to the number one cause of death in the world, even though cholesterol lowering medications are being utilized at an all time high and while people have been instructed to reduce the amount of cholesterol in their diet !!
So why do the majority of medical professionals believe that high cholesterol levels in the blood cause heart disease?
A) They have been convinced by faulty studies and misinformation.
B) They do not have a good understanding of biochemistry.
C) They have been deceived by medical textbooks and pharmaceutical propaganda.
Read about the faulty studies in this excellent Wall Street Journal article:

Statin Drugs Are Not The Solution
The most widely used cholesterol lowering medications are a class of drugs called Statins. Statin drugs work by inhibiting an enzyme (HMG-CoA reductase) in the liver that is responsible for producing cholesterol. As I mentioned a few paragraphs back, shutting down your body' ability to produce cholesterol can have serious detrimental effects on your health.
Statin drugs are so toxic that the FDA had to update it's advise on the risks associated with them.
Liver damage, memory loss, diabetes, and muscle damage are all possible side effects of these nasty drugs. (of course the FDA is calling some of these possible side effects "rare")
Low cholesterol levels have also been associated with depression and suicide !!
Eating Cholesterol Does Not Raise Your Cholesterol
Dietary cholesterol does NOT raise blood cholesterol levels. So telling a person who has high cholesterol to reduce their intake of cholesterol containing foods is biochemically ignorant.
The Real Causes Of Heart Disease
So what are the real causes of heart disease? Excess Sugar consumption, inflammation, oxidative damage, and stress are the major causes of heart disease.
1-High concentrations of sugar can create sticky thick blood that can get stuck in blood vessels and lead to blockages that can prevent oxygen and nutrients from getting to tissues and organs which can lead to strokes and heart attacks. (This is also the main reason why diabetics get their limbs amputated)
2-Inflammation-inflammation in the body (which mainly comes from inflammatory foods) can cause cell starvation (of nutrients), suffocation (lack of oxygen delivery), and cell toxification.
3-Oxidative damage-free radicals can destroy your cells including those in your circulatory system.
4- Stress- Both physiological and psychological stress produce fight or flight hormones that can cause serious damage to your body. Stress hormones can increase your blood pressure, make your blood clot, make you gain weight, and release large amounts of sugar into your bloodstream.

Non Toxic Solutions
1-Identify foods that are inflammatory to you and remove them from your diet. Everyone is different and reacts to foods differently. How do you know if a food is causing inflammation? A food that gives you any digestive discomfort (gas, heartburn, constipation, diarrhea, or makes you feel bloated), joint pain, or skin issues should be eliminated. Make sure that you are taking a good quality balanced essential fatty acid supplement and that you are including ginger, turmeric, and cayenne peppers into your diet for their anti-inflammatory properties.
2-Reduce your intake of refined carbohydrates, sugars, and grains. Load up on vegetables instead.
Eat more protein and good fats like butter, virgin coconut oil, avocado's, and nuts.
3- The only oils you should cook with are organic butter or virgin coconut oil. Never heat any other vegetable oil. Vegetable oils are unsaturated which means that they are unstable and are more susceptible to oxidation and free radical damage. Oxidized oils pose a risk to our cardiovascular systems. Always refrigerate your oils. NEVER USE MARGARINE. Only use vegetable oils like extra virgin olive oil unheated and in salads.

4- If you are a smoker stop smoking !! If your a drinker stop drinking (or at least reduce it)
5- Remember to relax. Take deep breaths throughout the day, stretch, take dead sea salt baths, and hot baths. Play soft music and take advantage of relaxing scents like lavender essential oil. Yoga, massage, and reiki, are all therapeutic.
6- Laugh. Watch a comedy and hang out with good friends.
Supplements
Multivitamin powder- Look for a good multivitamin powder. I like powders because you can put them in water and sip them throughout the day instead of taking them all at once. I highly recommend beyond tangy tangerine 2.0 because it is loaded with b-vitamins and power packed with electrolytes and nutrients.
Vitamin C- many people know of vitamin c's immune supporting benefits, but it also has blood pressure lowering properties and is a key factor in strengthening blood vessels.
Magnesium- Magnesium is found in a high concentration in leafy green vegetables. Magnesium glycinate 200mg 2-3x/ day has heart relaxing properties.
Omega 3-I like udo's oil blend which is a well balanced omega 3-6-9 oil. You can also try fish oil or flax oil.
Selenium-200mcg is recommended. Brazil nuts have the most selenium that I know of. Eat 2-3 per day. Make sure not to eat more than that because selenium is toxic over
Vitamin E- 400 IU mixed tocopherols (make sure not derived from soy),
Coenzyme Q10- try 100-200mg of the oil soluble form.
Vitamin D-get it from the sun or a full spectrum light
